I made the mistake of offering a prize to the winning team when I ran my very first GooseChase challenge. Now the students always expect there to be a prize for every GooseChase. 🤦🏻♀️ Lesson learned!

If you want to tangibly acknowledge the win, provide a paper award/certificate (and maybe take a photo of the winner).

Great insight! Not offering a prize in the beginning also opens up the opportunity to offer one later when you are looking to boost engagement. 🏆
